Are You Sleep Deprived?

Do you ever find yourself falling asleep in class or work? Well, you may be sleep deprived.

Don't worry, being sleep deprived isn't a disease or anything, but it may lead to health troubles.

You see, the average adult needs about 8 hours of sleep every night. It may be due to the fact that we live in a world with so much technology that we can't seem to get our eyes off of it.

Don't fret, I have some really helpful tips that have helped me get back on track to getting better sleep and not suffering from sleep deprivation.

First things first. You may need to decompress and get off your phone or anything that reflects the blue light at least an hour before you go to sleep. The blue light can actually keep you awake and your body won't be able to get the proper rest it needs.

Try stretching before you go to bed. Meditating will also help. Stretching out your muscles can make you relaxed and ready for better sleep.

Go to bed at the exact same time every night. This helps getting your body set for a schedule on when it needs rest.

Drink tea. Not all of you may be tea drinkers, but I am obsessed with it. There is something about it that makes me feel refreshed every time I drink it. Green tea is my favorite. Chamomile tea has many uses to regulate sleep, lower stress levels, and protect your skin. This herbal tea can help to relax you and get you ready to go to bed.

Hope these tips help! If you have any questions please feel free to comment:) Love you all!
